For homeowners who want to add solar energy systems and\/or battery storage to their home – and have the CHOICE to take advantage of the Federal Solar Investment Tax Credit to keep payments low for the life of the loan.<\/p>\n\t

The Mosaic CHOICE Loan was designed for homeowners who want a consistently low solar financing payment because they plan to pay down at least 30% (potentially received by the Solar Investment Tax Credit or other funds) in the first 18 months to keep those payments low. After month 18, payments are adjusted lower if more than 30% has been paid, or higher if less than 30% is paid.<\/p>\n\t

15 YEAR CHOICE LOAN REPAYMENT EXAMPLE:<\/p>\n

A 15 year, fixed-rate, $30,000 CHOICE loan with a 7.99% APR would have 180 monthly payments of $213.93, assuming the borrower makes a 30% ($9,000) voluntary prepayment during the first 18 months of the loan term. Number of payments and monthly payment amount may vary based on disbursement date(s).<\/p>\n

Annual Percentage Rate (APR) in the example includes a 0.50% interest rate reduction for borrowers who sign up for automatic payments. Interest Rate and monthly payments will increase if the borrower changes the payment method.<\/p>\n

\n\t\tMosaic PLUS Loan\n\t<\/h2>\n\t

For homeowners who want to add solar energy systems and\/or battery storage – PLUS make non-solar improvements at the same time – like upgrading their HVAC, roofing, windows, doors and more.<\/p>\n\t

The Mosaic PLUS Loan was designed for homeowners who want their monthly payments to remain the same without needing to pay extra funds during the re-amortization occurring at month 18. This is ideal for homeowners who don’t plan on receiving the Solar Investment Tax Credit, however, using extra funds to pay down the loan before month 18 will result in an adjusted lower monthly payment for the duration of the loan.<\/p>\n\t
